Driven by a passion for creativity and technology, Kyle has established his professional reputation over the past 10 years through graphic development and web design. Kyle’s diverse skill set supports a central proficiency of identifying areas for improvement, designing a plan of action and delivering a solution. He attended the University of Central Florida where he received his Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems.
Kyle grew up in Indiana, but made it to TN as soon as possible to attend Milligan College. After graduating with a degree in communications he got his start by producing and editing motorsports programming for ESPN. In 2006, Kyle started his own media production company. Kyle brings his 20+ years of experience in sales and production to the High Road team with the goal of maximizing the solutions that the High Road Agency delivers to its clients. Abiding by the mantra work hard, play hard, Kyle enjoys skiing, snowmobiling and riding ATV’s. He also enjoys his family and coaching his son’s soccer team.
Matt Bolas is a native of Kingsport, TN and graduate of East Tennessee State University. With more than 20 years of experience in the tourism industry – including 18 as Executive Director of Discover Bristol and two as Sports Marketing Manager at Visit Kingsport – Matt’s creativity, brand development, event management and marketing experience has helped propel many projects into nationally-recognized and award-winning campaigns. He has served in leadership roles on numerous travel-industry boards throughout Tennessee, Virginia and the Southeast, including: Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association, Visit Southwest Virginia, Tennessee Association of CVBs, Virginia Association of CVBs, Travel South USA and Southeast Tourism Society. In working with a client, Matt believes in positive change, multi-level engagement and open communication. He is passionate about achieving goals and exceeding customer expectations – a mantra he tries to embody each day learned from former Bristol Motor Speedway General Manager, Jeff Byrd. Passionate about live music, festivals, craft beer, local foods, travel and pugs, Matt brings a unique perspective and collaborative team approach in every campaign he manages. Matt loves ice cream.
Born and raised in Bristol, Lori attended Tennessee High School and ETSU, incorrectly believing that she would one day be a teacher. A sports nut, a job at the Bristol Herald Courier changed her career path as she gave up on education and became a sportswriter. Realizing she needed to make enough money to eat/pay bills she went to work at Bristol Motor Speedway in public relations, where she used all her PR know-how to cajole NASCAR drivers into shooting guns, playing air guitar and drums and taking part in shower games like dirty diapers. Lori loves most sports and her mood during football season is in direct correlation with how the Vols are doing (so yeah, not happy a lot of the time).
Seth attended King College and graduated with a degree in History and Biology, but then decided digital media was really his calling. Coming from co-owning his own business, Boomtown Film Company, Seth has learned the importance of working in a fast-paced environment and the need to wear multiple hats.
Sarah is a native of Johnson City, TN and graduate of East Tennessee State University where she studied digital media and business. As the Digital Art Director at The High Road Agency, she works on many creative projects including web development, branding packages, layout production and graphic design. When she is not #takingthehighroad, you can find her on a hiking trail, cheering on the Tennessee Vols or in the kitchen baking sweet treats.

Katie is an award-winning graphic designer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and minor in Marketing. She maintains an active pursuit of development in her field, through which she has accumulated a diverse skill set that allows her to wear multiple hats within her role as Art Director: branding, layout, graphic design, social media strategy, and special event orchestration. When Katie’s not #TakingTheHighRoad she enjoys spending time with her dog Luna, reading comics and cheering on her favorite sports team the Atlanta Braves.
Kate’s life mantra of “be good, do good” drives her to do anything she does with her whole heart. Her pursuit of knowledge and understanding about the human experience led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in History and Philosophy at ETSU. She has developed her professional career for over 20 years in roles within Sales and Marketing from wedding and event planning to grassroots and digital marketing. As a military brat born on the North Carolina coast who has lived in places from the Far East to the Wild West, Kate’s adaptability to change led her into her role as Director of Digital Advertising and Social Media with HRA. Family relationships, passion for local dining and community growth, and her love of journaling through Instagram inspire her along the path of living her most authentic self.
John, who is originally from Glasgow, Scotland, came to Tennessee on a golf scholarship to King University in 2011. He studied Marketing, Digital Media, Art and Design at King, where he received his MBA. John is a jack of all trades at the High Road Agency as he is prolific in graphic design, website design, and video editing. When he’s not creating something spectacular, John likes to spend time with his wife, Frankie, stepson, Elliott, and their pup, Bonnie. He is also an avid golfer and loves working on landscape and interior home projects.
