Transforming the Sevierville Visitors Center
Over the past few years, we have had the pleasure of supporting the Sevierville Visitors Center through a variety of exhibit and design projects. It started in 2016 when we developed an exhibit celebrating native daughter Dolly Parton. Since then, the exhibit space has featured a new theme each year, with the current focus on “Life in the Smoky Mountains.”
Most recently, the Visitors Center director decided to convert an underutilized photography gallery into a more versatile exhibit space. We created a 25-foot long display highlighting previous exhibits, anchored by a striking 7’x7′ simulated sunrise to sunset landscape of the Smoky Mountains using LED lighting effects. Additionally, we designed complementary building graphics including window decals of the Chamber logo, directional floor graphics, door signage, and other custom touches throughout the space.
The multifaceted project provided the Visitors Center with expanded capacity to showcase the culture and natural beauty of Sevierville and the surrounding region. We enjoyed helping the Center transform itself to better tell the story of this one-of-a-kind Smoky Mountain community.
