Not Just a Pet Store
When we were approached by Alex and Daniel Blondin, the owners of Bubbles and Bows, about a new website we instantly new this would be a fun project. Bubbles and Bows is a Pet Boarding, Pet Grooming, and Pet Day Care Business.
Project summary
Alex and Daniel recently purchased the business from the previous owners who were retiring. Alex and Daniel both have other full time jobs and have their hands full balancing the responsibilities of being new parents, business owners and employees.
As new business owners, the Blondins were discovering new challenges each day the business was open. The biggest challenge ended up being the pricing structure. After all, no two animals are the same. Think about bathing a St. Bernard vs. a Chihuahua. One of these is going to require a bit more work, not to mention a bit more soap.
With over 195 different dogs breeds, coming up with a simple pricing structure that was also easy for all staff to remember for all the services offered was impossible.
The High Road Agency was able to build a custom module on the new website that allows a pet owner to select their dog’s breed, and weight. Then a price is calculated and displayed based on that information. This system provided a simple and fast tool for customers and employees looking for a price.
