Pull it Together

I recently attended a wedding where the beautiful white wedding cake fell to pieces just hours before the wedding reception. In this moment, I began to wonder what factors could have caused this seemingly catastrophic event to occur. Was it an important ingredient the baker left out? Was it the unseasonably warm day? Was it something that occurred during transport to the venue?

It is painful to see something that someone worked so hard to build fall apart in the matter of minutes. Suddenly this quote from Suzanne Collins came to mind, “It takes ten times as long to put yourself back together as it does to fall apart.” This reality can be extremely difficult to grasp, particularly during a special life or professional event. Unfortunately, events like this happen all of the time in all aspects of our lives. As a full-service agency, we see many businesses and organizations that suffer from incidents and confrontations on social media channels that can be catastrophic to a business’ image.

For these types of incidents, it is much easier to take preventive measures than to rally your business back to where it was. One way to approach your preventative measures is to assess how you are approaching your audience on your social media platforms. Creating content that encourages your audience to positively engage with your brand has become an essential part of how brand images are growing on prevailing marketing platforms. If you are worried about your business encountering these types of issues with your social media presence, we can help! We will work with you to create a marketing plan to enhance positive engagement with your audience and build your business’ presence on all social media platforms.

P.S. They were able to have another cake decorated and it was a beautiful celebration of the couples love for one another.
