I recently attended a wedding where the beautiful white wedding cake fell to pieces just hours before the wedding reception. In this moment, I began to wonder what factors could have caused this seemingly catastrophic event to occur. Was it an important ingredient the baker left out? Was it the unseasonably warm day?
