2020 Pinnacle Awards

The Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association recently held its annual Pinnacle Awards to honor the industry’s premier performers for 2020. The High Road Agency, which works with a number of tourism entities in the region, was proud to have played a role in several of the honorees’ winning entries.

Visit Kingsport’s Tennessee Big Shots golf event, which benefitted Niswonger Children’s Hospital, earned top honors for Best Sports Event. HRA produced a website for Visit Kingsport and also handled social media management for the ultra-successful event, which was broadcast live by Golf Channel.

Visit Kingsport also won big for its Long Island Iced Tea campaign, taking the Best Marketing Campaign award, as well as the Best Public Relations Campaign for Round Three of the LIIT battle. The High Road Agency, Visit Kingsport’s agency of record, created the original campaign three years ago and has continued to guide it, culminating last year with an event near Washington D.C.

Visit Kingsport’s Visitor Guide, created and designed by HRA, also took home top Advertising and Promotions: Brochure of Guide honors. You can request the visitor guide to be sent to you in the mail or download a digital copy on their website.

“We’re so excited for our partners who won Pinnacle Awards for their work in the tourism industry,” said Kyle Wirick, Managing Director at The High Road Agency. “We feel very fortunate to be able to work with such amazing organizations and their staff and couldn’t be happier that they’ve received such wonderful recognition from the Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association.”
